This is a crime thriller drama. It is the story of a man named, Park Jung Woo who is a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. His life is turned upside down when one day, he wakes up in a prison cell and is told that he has killed his wife Yoon Ji Soo (Son Ye Eun) and that his daughter is currently missing. He is suffering from temporary amnesia and can't remember what happened. Jung Woo tried to find the real culprit with the help of public defender Seo Eun Hye. But Defendant is a very well-done legal thriller. They face many problems to prove their innocence. There is a great mystery behind these all. We need to see if Jung Woo proves his innocence or not. And also what happened with her daughter. The mystery of this drama makes it must watchable as it has great suspense.
